SPOTLIGHT ON REPORTING AND CAPTIONING

NCRA has underwritten a short program airing on PBS stations around the country this fall about court reporting and captioning. The show is called Spotlight On: Court Reporting and Captioning and will air at least 500 times on PBS stations across the U.S. starting in September.

Spotlight On is a series of short programs that PBS stations air between feature programs. Since PBS does not have commercials to run between shows, the stations use short content such as the Spotlight On series as opportunities and needs arise.

NCRA underwrote the cost of producing the five-minute program and, as an underwriter, will receive a Nielsen report of when and where the program aired at the conclusion of the three-month agreement. We also will be making the program available to reporter-training programs for their use in recruitment.

We have placed three versions of the video online. You will need a QuickTime plugin for your browser, which you can download for free if you do not already have one installed.
